About the Journal

MICARE (Midwife Care Journal) is a peer-reviewed academic journal focused on publishing high-quality research, reviews, and case studies in midwifery and maternal healthcare. The journal is a resource for midwives, healthcare professionals, and researchers interested in the latest advancements in maternal and newborn care, prenatal and postnatal practices, women’s health, and reproductive rights.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that examines the social, cultural, and environmental factors impacting maternal health. It also welcomes contributions on community-based midwifery practices, policy reforms, and healthcare interventions aimed at improving maternal outcomes and empowering women during pregnancy and childbirth.

Manuscripts should be between 1,000-2,000 words in length. The peer review process and decision on publication will normally be completed within 90 days of receipt of submissions.
